Which countries are supported in Google Places?

Answer

At this moment not all countries can be supported by Google Places.
This is due to the fact that we receive different types of address fields per country and not all of them are supported. 

You will receive the message below when this is the case and you can complement the details manually.

We are constantly updating the number of countries which are supported by Google Places. Please find below the list of countries which we cannot support at this moment.

Unsupported Countries
British Indian Ocean Territory
Cocos (Keeling) Islands
Heard and Mcdonald Islands
Holy See (Vatican City State)
Netherlands Antilles (Google does not return results for this one)
Pakistan (this is a special one, while Google returns 2 times region, and we never know which one is the correct one)
Saint-Barthélemy
Saint Helena
Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Lucia
Saint-Martin (French part)
Saint Pierre and Miquelon
Saint Vincent and Grenadines
Solomon Islands
South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands 
Swaziland
Turks and Caicos Islands
Tuvalu
Wallis and Futuna Islands
Western Sahara
US Minor Outlying Islands
