How to solve the: Unable to import due to a consistency issue

Overview

You have imported a file using an existing profile and this import is not processed. Either with a manual upload or with Dropbox / Google Drive upload. In the log file, it shows the error: A consistency issue has occurred, please verify your profile configuration for recent changes. 

How to

The reason DataBridge is not able to import this file is that the file structure has changed. When column headers are changed or when more or fewer columns are detected in the import file DataBridge will see this as a changed structure and is not able to import it.

To solve this you can take the following actions:

  • Upload / select the new file in your profile
  • Your profile will go back into Wizard Mode
  • Go through the wizard again and check the mapped fields
  • Close the wizard and start the import again
