For the ‘synchronization’ of Marketing Sendout consent, DataBridge is set up with a separate import from SuperOffice to eMarketeer and a separate import from eMarketeer to SuperOffice. For the import to eMarketeer, a SuperOffice Selection is created that holds all persons that need to be ‘synchronized’ to eMarketeer. To prevent that all persons are always exported, the option ‘Only retrieve new and changed enitities’ entities’ is enabled. This way only new and edited persons are exported from SuperOffice.
And this is where SuperOffice has a difference in handling Marketing Sendout consent and Store and Process consent. When a user updates the Marketing Sendout consent in SuperOffice, this is recognized as a change to the person and this person’s details will subsequently be exported from the Selection. However, when a user updates the Store and Process consent, SuperOffice does not treat this as a change to the person’s details. The result is that this person’s details are not exported.
