Do I need to be logged in for the Synchronizer to work?

No, this is not necessary.

The Synchronizer is a cloud-based service, which talks to both SuperOffice CRM and your calendar system (Exchange / Microsoft 365 / Google) over the internet. We use the credentials you have filled in during the activation to be able to communicate with both systems.

So even at night when you are asleep, the Synchronizer still checks for new appointments/tasks/contacts to sync. In other words, it's a true "set-and-forget" setup.
