Create an Application password in Wordpress

Overview

With SuperOffice for WordPress a SuperOffice user is able to transfer a SuperOffice selection with contacts to WordPress. This way a customer can maintain the account list and all its details in SuperOffice. 

How to

An application password needs to be created first in Wordpress.

Login to Wordpress

Go to Users and open the details of your user account.
Note: Make sure the feature Application Passwords is on the bottom of the user details page. (If not, check your WordPress version and if you use https.)

Create a new Password for an Application

  1. Fill in the name of the app (for instance SuperOffice)

  2. Click Add New Application Password

Copy the generated password. You need it in the Settings page of the SuperOffice for Wordpress. See this article
